At the campsite 😳

You know me and therefore you’ll probably won’t believe me 😂 … I am on the campsite … well in a rented bungalow at Camping Lido di Salerno for a month!!!!! Very unfamiliar but very nice. Fifty meters from the beach as you can see from the photo which is the view from our terrace. And the only other guests this time of the year are three campers. So nice and quiet.

School started

And that means we’re up and running already at 7 am, for a quick cup of tea and hop in the car off to Salerno.

Luckily we drove away a bit earlier. Road works require 10 minutes more and then I also have to park😜.

We get a very warm welcome upon entering school by Stefania my teacher for the next three weeks. It is so nice to be back at school again 📖. But I am glad once it's 12 o'clock, because now I really need a coffee and a small lunch at the bar around the corner. Nice and cosy.

Shopping is my next mission.

On my advice I drive to the Maxi Mall, with a very large supermarket. The Maxi Mall has all kinds of shops, but mainly everything revolves around food, food and more food.

I go crazy in the supermarket. There is an excellent vegetable department, a butcher's shop, a salumeria with hams, sausages and a large assortment of fresh and matured cheeses😋, a bakery and not to forget a nice wine department.

In my little bungalow, the empty cupboards suddenly become full ones 😂 I'm looking forward to my first camping meal.

It takes some getting used to in my mini kitchen, so for tonight pasta with lots of vegetables sprinkled with freshly grated parmesan.
