Grosseto

A nice harbour town with fortification walls. I am enjoying the sunshine and, with some music, it makes the trip very pleasant.In Grosseto, I easily park my car near the city walls.

I walk into the shopping street. And you won't guess it…. there is a lot of open👏. All shops and several restaurants. I look for the church and automatically find the old centre. Church, nice square and a nice terrace in the sun.

The owner asks if I want to eat and/or drink something. Of course, both please. That is a good thing. I take the menu of the day but without dessert 😉 I am not hungry.

While eating, I keep looking at three trees in a fountain. Are they real or not? I get up to touch them. Great, they are made of bronze (almost real) with pomegranates where the water flows from. Beautiful!!

Back at the table there is a panna cotta smiling at me😄😋 Well Italy…..Matteo has a big smile on his face😄.

Nourishing myself with a cafè, I can keep it up for a while in the sun. Yes, these are the moments ….. you know, those nice, lazy moments😊.

There is a nice atmosphere in Grosseto. Arrivederci Grosseto 🤗
