Vietri sul Mare

For my last visit in the region on the Amalfi Coast, I visit Vietri sul Mare.

This is a very cute little town with a nice harbour and the best fish preserving companies in Italy.

Here you can buy seasonally preserved glass fish, but they also have the best fish sauce there is.

I have tasted it all😋.

The pickled fish on a slice of sweet lemon Mmmmm.

The fish sauce is unbeatable. Now I never want Asian fish sauce again. This is a true delicacy. And of course I bought a couple of bottles👏

Vietri sul Mare is also, like several places on the Amalfi Coast, famous for its pottery. Which can also be seen everywhere. Especially their cute fish as planters.

It was a great visit, but again I don't know how many stairs. I have seen and walked enough. Time for a drink!
